The Similan Islands has an area of around 590 square kilometres and has a population of a little over 348,000. It is actually a group of islands that is located at the south of Krabi town. Its location is perfect for exploring the beautiful scenery provided by its marine life. Its name is actually derived from a Malaysian word that means group of nine islands.

By ferry to Phuket
Khao Lak, Phang Nga province is the best sea route option to reach Similan islands and it takes around three hours to reach there.
